Free material test

Find the right solution with our test center

We test your material in our test center to find the right solution for your specific requirements. Send us your requirements without obligation, and we'll call you back for a personal consultation. This way, you'll receive a well-founded recommendation for the optimal machine, process stage, and target particle size – precisely tailored to your material.

Frequently Asked Questions

A material test shows, how your material actually behaves when crushed and ground (e.g., hardness, brittleness, abrasiveness, moisture). This is how we find the suitable machine and optimal parameters, before it leads to bad investments or unnecessary wear and tear.
Our testing service is, of course, completely free of charge for you.

  • Mineral materials (e.g. quartzite, limestone, concrete) are often brittle, are easy to break – but can abrasive .
  • Metallic materials (e.g. ferroalloys, ores) are common tougher and denser, create greater stress on tools and often require a Robust, wear-resistant design.

In the material test, we examine which strategy is best suited – crushing → pre-crushing → fine grinding.

We are checking, among other things:

  • Task size & desired final fineness
  • Digestibility (Breakage behavior / grindability)
  • Throughput & Process Design (single- or multi-stage)
  • wear behavior with abrasive materials
  • Meaningful combination from jaw crusher, mill and possibly sieving

In the end, you will receive a clear recommendation for machine + settings + process path.

You can either send us a sample or schedule an appointment at the test center. Helpful information includes:

  • Material type (e.g. Ore, ferroalloy, concrete, catalyst)
  • max. task size
  • desired Final grain size / fineness
  • required throughput (per batch / hour / week)

This allows us to plan the test realistically, and you will receive a result faster.

No, LITech's test laboratory is not a contract laboratory. It serves solely to test LITech-manufactured machines under real-world conditions and to develop optimal solutions for our customers. External material preparation or analyses outside this scope are not offered.
